Don’t Be Out Here Perishing!
✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙
Hey family, good evening 💛🙏🏾✨
So many of us are BUSY 🏃🏾♀️ but not always PURPOSEFUL 🎯. God never called us to just EXIST… He called us to LIVE with VISION 👁️✨. The Bible says, “Where there is no VISION, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18 NASB) 📖🙏🏾. Without GOD-GIVEN DIRECTION 🧭, we drift 🌊, react 😩, and settle 😔 instead of walking in PURPOSE 🔥.
A true VISION is not about OUR PLANS… it is about GOD’S WILL 🙌🏾. When we SEEK Him FIRST 🛐, He begins to ALIGN our desires 💭 with His PURPOSE 📖✨. That means we PRAY 🙏🏾, STUDY the WORD 📖, and LISTEN 👂🏾 to the Holy Spirit 🕊️.
If you already have a vision, ask: Is it rooted in OBEDIENCE ✔️, FAITH 💪🏾, and GOD’S GLORY ✨… or just COMFORT 😌?
Don’t move without direction 🚫➡️. Seek Him while He may be found 🙏🏾💛.

Reflecting on the profound message of Proverbs 29:18, I've found that having a clear, God-given vision truly transforms how we live. For me, the difference between just going through motions and living with intention was when I started seeking God's will above my own plans. It wasn’t easy initially because being busy can sometimes disguise itself as productivity, yet without divine direction, that busyness felt hollow. The image and themes from the article reminded me of my personal journey where I focused on FAITH, FOCUS, and putting God First to develop my life vision. This approach helped me gain clarity, especially in times of uncertainty or discouragement. Setting goals like FREEDOM — emotional, spiritual, and sometimes financial — became more attainable because they were aligned with God's purpose. I encourage anyone feeling lost or overwhelmed to spend time in prayer, dive into scripture, and quiet their heart to listen to the Holy Spirit. Habakkuk 2:2-3 encourages us to write down the vision clearly so that it can guide us steadily until fulfilled. This act of writing down God’s vision can provide focus and accountability. Living purposefully means regularly checking if your vision is motivated by obedience and faith, not just comfort or convenience. It requires courage to step out only when you’re confident about God’s direction. This process keeps your heart aligned with God’s glory rather than personal gratification. Ultimately, walking in alignment with God’s will brings peace and fulfillment that no worldly success can match. So, don’t settle or drift aimlessly—embrace the vision God gives and live with purpose every day. Remember, it’s not just about avoiding perishing, but thriving in the life God has destined for you.
