When Reverence Finds You Again!
✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙
Hey y’all 🤎🌙 praying your evening is restful. Tonight the Lord pressed something heavy on my spirit — the GROWING LACK OF FEAR OF THE LORD⚠️. We’ve gotten casual with His WORD📖, careless with His TEMPLE🏛️, and comfortable dishonoring His NAME🙌🏾. Yet we still want His BLESSINGS💧, His PROTECTION🛡️, and His FAVOR✨. But God is not mocked.
He is patient — deeply patient — but even PATIENCE HAS A LIMIT⏳. The RETURN OF JESUS IS IMMINENT🔥, and the days of spiritual DOUBLE‑MINDEDNESS🌀 are over. We cannot serve God and the world. We cannot love His promises but reject His PRECEPTS📜. We cannot cry for His HAND🖐🏾 while ignoring His HEART❤️.
It’s time to CHOOSE. Time to return to our FIRST LOVE💗, restore REVERENCE, and walk in HOLINESS✨ again. The fear of the Lord brings WISDOM🧠, COVERING🛡️, and LIFE🌱 — and He’s calling us back.
🕊️Scriptures to Meditate On🙏🏾
Joshua 24:15
Hebrews 12:28–29

In my own spiritual journey, I've noticed how easy it is to grow casual and comfortable with what once meant everything. The modern world constantly distracts us, pulling our attention away from reverence and genuine respect for God. However, the reminder that "God is not mocked" serves as a powerful wake-up call. We can’t selectively seek His blessings, protection, and favor while neglecting His Word, His temple, and His name. The phrase from the image, "Lord, I choose you!", resonates deeply with me because it highlights the daily decision we must make to fully commit ourselves to God. This choice isn’t a one-time act but an ongoing commitment to live in holiness and obedience. Returning to our "first love," as mentioned, reminded me of my early days of faith — the passion, the awe, and the earnest desire to walk closely with God. Recapturing this spirit provides the foundation to overcome spiritual double-mindedness. Meditating on scriptures like Joshua 24:15, "But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord," and Hebrews 12:28–29, which speaks about serving God with reverence and awe, has helped me rethink my daily decisions and the attitude of my heart. These passages encourage us to choose decisively whom we will serve and to honor God with our entire being. Restoring reverence is not just about fear but about wisdom, protection, and abundant life — all gifts that come when we re-align our hearts. By sharing personal experiences and witnessing others' transformations, I’ve come to understand that true reverence leads to peace and confidence amid uncertainty. For anyone feeling spiritually weighed down or distracted, choosing to prioritize God's heart over mere blessings is crucial. It is a call not just for the future but urgent for today, especially as we reflect on the imminent return of Jesus and the call to holiness. This spiritual revival begins when we decide, "Lord, I choose you!" and let that choice permeate every part of our daily lives.
