Is Your Heart Pure?
Let’s pray 🙏🏾 and get this day underway♥️!
Good morning blessed family 🤎🌅 Today’s devotion reminded me how tender and powerful Matthew 5:8 truly is, because Jesus tells us that the PURE in heart will SEE GOD 🙌🏾✨. A PURE HEART isn’t something we can create by effort or perfection 🚫. It’s something God forms in us when we SURRENDER and let the HOLY SPIRIT do His WORK ❤️🔥.
We all carry stains, regrets, and moments we wish we could rewrite 💔. But the SACRIFICE of JESUS washes what we cannot wash ourselves 🤍. God promised that even our CRIMSON marks can become CLEAN when we stop trying to be the master of our own soul and hand Him the pieces 🙏🏼🔥.
So today, pause and ask the Lord, “What am I still holding onto?” Then RELEASE it. SURRENDER it. Let Him PURIFY your HEART so you can SEE GOD more clearly than ever 👀✨.

Reflecting on the message of having a pure heart as described, I’ve come to realize that this purity isn’t something achieved by willpower or trying harder on our own—it’s about surrendering fully to God’s transformative work within us. When life’s challenges leave us feeling stained with regrets and hurts, it can be tempting to hold onto bitterness or disappointment, but this only clouds our spiritual vision. Personally, practicing daily moments of surrender has made a profound difference. Each morning, I take a moment to pray—asking God to reveal what I might be holding onto that prevents full healing and peace. Similar to the heartfelt prayer from the article’s image, I ask God to cleanse my heart from anything not aligned with His Word, whether it’s anger, resentment, or fear. This intentional release creates space for the Holy Spirit to purify and renew me from the inside out. The promise in Matthew 5:8 that “the pure in heart will see God” resonates deeply because it speaks to a heart transformed enough to perceive God’s presence more clearly amidst daily life. Scripture passages like Psalm 51:10 remind me to ask God to create in me a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit—prayers that shape my spiritual journey. Moreover, embracing this renewal means trusting in Jesus’ sacrifice to wash away what we cannot cleanse alone. The transformation feels like shedding layers of emotional and spiritual burdens continuously, offering fresh opportunities to experience grace daily. One practical way I’ve found helpful is journaling what I surrender each day and reflecting back on God’s ongoing work in my heart. If you find yourself struggling with lingering wounds or heaviness, I encourage you to pause today and ask: "What am I still holding onto?" Then, like the devotional urges, surrender it fully. Letting God purify your heart is a daily, beautiful process that opens your eyes to seeing Him more closely and experiencing His love more deeply.
