More Than We Can Bear!
✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙
Hey family ❤️🔥 I pray your evening is peaceful. Tonight the Lord reminded me that sometimes life feels like it’s MORE THAN WE CAN BEAR💥… and honestly, that’s exactly where God shows His POWER✨. Many people say, “God won’t give me more than I can bear,” but the WORD never said that📖. What Scripture DOES say is that His STRENGTH is made PERFECT in our WEAKNESS💪🏾✨ (2 Cor. 12:9).
God will allow moments that feel UNBEARABLE😣🔥… not to break us, but to REVEAL HIMSELF. If we could handle everything alone, we might think we didn’t need Him. But when the load is too heavy🧱😮💨… when the pressure is too much💔… when the tears won’t stop😭… that’s when God steps in and says,“I AM WITH YOU”🙌🏾.
He may not remove the weight immediately, but He WILL CARRY YOU THROUGH IT🕊️. And on the other side, you’ll say, “BUT GOD!”🙌🏾🔥
🕊️Scriptures to Meditate On🙏🏾
2 Corinthians 12:9
Psalm 55:22

Life can often feel overwhelmingly heavy, and it's natural to wonder how anyone can bear such pressure. From my own experiences and reflections, I've found that these moments, as difficult as they are, serve a deeper purpose. When the weight of troubles seems unbearable, it’s not a sign of defeat but an invitation to lean into God's power. One powerful truth is that God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness. This means that when we are at our lowest, feeling fragile or drained, God’s presence and power can shine through the cracks of our vulnerability. It’s during these times I’ve felt the most spiritual growth and intimacy with God because I had to rely on Him more fully than ever before. The phrase "Had it not been for the Lord...!" resonates deeply here. It reminds me of how many trials I could not have overcome without divine help. Like settling a debt or receiving something that’s "PAID IN FULL," God clears burdens that feel impossible to carry alone. This image highlights hope and ultimate relief that comes through faith. Interestingly, the common saying, "God won’t give you more than you can bear," is not directly biblical. Instead, the scriptures emphasize God’s sustaining strength during our toughest trials, not the absence of those trials. This perspective helped me stop expecting an easy path and instead embrace the journey with all its challenges, trusting that God is always carrying me through. Meditating on verses like 2 Corinthians 12:9, where God’s power is made perfect in weakness, and Psalm 55:22, which encourages casting burdens on the Lord, has personally helped me navigate emotional and spiritual storms. These scriptures are practical tools for anyone facing overwhelming situations. In my own life, when the pressure mounts and tears come freely, I remind myself that God is not distant or indifferent. He is intimately present, offering peace in the night and strength when I feel faint. Knowing this has been a lifeline, helping me keep faith when I want to give up. If you’re currently feeling like it’s "more than you can bear," remember that this is exactly where God’s power can enter and transform your struggle into testimony. He may not take the weight away immediately, but He promises to carry you through and bring you out stronger on the other side. Holding onto that hope has made all the difference for me.
