The BlessingOn The Wait

Let’s pray 🙏🏾 and get this day underway♥️!

Hey family ❤️‍🔥, good morning! Today the Lord had me sitting with Psalm 27:14, and whew… it reminded me that WAITING is not punishment, it’s PREPARATION💛. Sometimes we look around and think, “Lord, why so long? Why not me? Why not now?” 🤷🏽‍♀️ But David wrote this because he KNEW that GOD’S TIMING is PERFECT⏳✨.

The WAIT is where God builds STRENGTH, CLARITY, DIRECTION, and PEACE💆🏾‍♀️🙏🏼. It’s where He grows our FAITH, sharpens our DISCERNMENT, and teaches us how to TRUST Him on a deeper level🧎🏽‍♀️🔥. Waiting is not doing nothing — it’s DEVELOPMENT, it’s MATURITY, it’s ALIGNMENT🌱💪🏽.

And when we look back, we always see it: if it came earlier or later, it wouldn’t have WORKED. God knows the RIGHT TIME, the RIGHT DOOR, the RIGHT BLESSING🙌🏾✨. So today, let’s WAIT WELL… because the wait is working FOR us, not AGAINST us💖.

... Read moreWaiting can often feel frustrating, especially when we are eager for answers or solutions to our challenges. Yet, from personal experience, I've found that embracing the wait transforms my perspective entirely. It’s during these times that I learn patience and deepen my relationship with God. The prayer from the image particularly resonates with me, as it highlights focusing on current blessings and trusting in God's future plans. When I reflect on Psalm 27:14 and the encouragement from Isaiah and Lamentations, I realize that waiting is an active process full of development. It's a season where God strengthens our character and clarifies our path. Instead of seeing waiting as passive or punitive, I started viewing it as essential preparation that molds me into who I need to be for the opportunities ahead. In everyday life, whether it's waiting on a job opportunity, healing, or a breakthrough, praying and meditating on these scriptures invite peace amid uncertainty. This mindset shift helps me appreciate the present and grow my faith, even when timing seems delayed. Moreover, trusting God's perfect timing alleviates anxiety and nurtures peace, reminding me that His plans are always for my good. Therefore, waiting is not a punishment but a blessing disguised as a pause—a time to build resilience, sharpen discernment, and align with God’s purpose. By waiting well, we actively partner with God’s work in our lives, confidently trusting that what is meant to be will come at the right time and in the right way.
