✨ Spend the day with me — full-time job haver, full-time content creator ✨
Some days I wake up before sunrise ready to conquer the world, and some days my period shows up early and says “nah girl, we’re going low-impact today.” 😅
Between clocking into work, editing content, replying to brand emails, and squeezing in three collabs, Oktoberfest with my girls, and a spooky date night with my man — I’m reminded how far I’ve come.
I used to pray for the kind of busy that came from building a creative life. Now I’m just praying for the wisdom, strength, and structure to keep growing it 🌱
Here’s to the ones balancing 9–5s and their dreams — you’re doing better than you think 💪🏽💻🧡

So many of you ask how I actually structure my full-time work schedule to squeeze in all my content creator tasks. It’s definitely not magic, but a lot of intentional planning and adapting. If you’re like me, balancing a 9-5 with your passion project, here’s a deeper dive into how I manage my week to make sure everything gets done, without completely burning out. First off, my mornings are sacred, even if some days it feels like a battle to get out of bed! I try to dedicate at least an hour before my 9-5 to either content planning, responding to urgent emails, or even a quick workout to get my energy up. This pre-work window is crucial because it sets the tone for the day and allows me to tackle creative tasks when my mind is freshest. I've found that even a 15-minute chunk of time spent brainstorming ideas or outlining a post can make a huge difference. During my actual 7-8 hours at my full-time job, I’m obviously focused on my work. But, as my OCR notes, I do try to leverage any natural downtime I have. This isn't about slacking off, but about smart multi-tasking. For example, during a lunch break or a quieter period, I might quickly submit a piece of content, respond to a time-sensitive brand message, or do some light editing. It's amazing how much you can accomplish by utilizing those small pockets of time that would otherwise be spent scrolling. I also use this time to stay organized and check my Google Calendar, which is truly my bible for keeping track of all my commitments – from collabs to personal appointments. The transition from my 9-5 to my content creator work is key. As soon as I get off, I usually take a 15-30 minute breather. This could be a short walk, listening to a podcast, or just sitting quietly. It helps me mentally switch gears from my day job to my creative projects. Then, it’s straight into action. My afternoons and evenings are typically packed with replying to messages, applying for UGC gigs, and diving into editing vlogs. Those longer form videos can definitely take a while, so I often break them into smaller, manageable chunks. Weekly, I'm usually juggling several collabs, whether with PR companies or other creators. On a busy week, it can be 3-5! This requires meticulous scheduling, which is why my Google Calendar is indispensable. I block out specific times for each collaboration, ensuring I don’t overcommit or miss deadlines. Weekends are often dedicated to shooting new content, batching tasks, and catching up on anything I couldn't finish during the week. While every week isn't crazy busy, I've learned to embrace the ebb and flow, making sure to schedule in self-care and downtime when I can. It’s about finding that wisdom and strength to handle it all, just as I prayed for.
