Perfect drink for the game this Sunday 🏈
When it comes to the Super Bowl the only thing I care about is the snack line up, and whose concert I’ll be watching from my living room!
This boozy Dr Pepper is the perfect game day drink. Ditch the alcohol and you have a fun kid friendly drink that’s festive.
Game day Dr Pepper:
2.5 ounces coconut rum
1 ounce fresh lime juice
Dr Pepper
Marshmallow fluff for the cup
Use the back of a small spatula or knife to create your “football” inside your cup. I used a 16 ounce plastic cup for this.
Add ice and all your ingredients to your cup and top with a lime slice. I used a black and white paper straw because in my mind it’s giving referee vibes… and I love it!
Who are you rooting for this year? Or are you just here for the snacks and half time show too!
Cheers 🖤

If you're planning your Super Bowl party drinks, this boozy Dr Pepper cocktail is an amazing choice that balances sweet and tangy flavors with a fun twist. What I love most about this recipe is how versatile it is—you can easily make it kid-friendly by skipping the coconut rum, turning it into a delicious and festive mocktail for everyone to enjoy. The marshmallow fluff used to create a 'football' design inside the cup adds a playful and creative touch that makes it stand out among typical game day drinks. When I tried this at my last Super Bowl gathering, the combination of the fizzy Dr Pepper and fresh lime juice brought a refreshing zest, while the aroma of coconut rum gave it a tropical vibe that complemented the savory snacks we served. Using a black and white paper straw to mimic a referee's stripes gave the drink an extra thematic feel that my guests really appreciated. Plus, serving it in a 16-ounce plastic cup makes it easy to handle during the excitement of the game. For those interested in customizing, you can experiment with different types of rum or add a splash of grenadine for extra color and sweetness. If you want to take it even further, pair the drink with classic game day foods like sliders, wings, or loaded nachos for a full entertaining experience. This recipe not only adds flavor but also an element of fun and style to your Super Bowl party, making it memorable for all your guests.
