We drove from Greenville to San Antonio with absolutely no plan.
Just vibes. And snacks.
Here’s what 48 chaotic hours cost us:
Hotel (Friday–Monday): $180
San Antonio Zoo: $100 (not including the souvenir negotiations)
The Alamo: Free
Parking at The Alamo (9AM–3PM): $5
Food for a family of 4: $280
And before you think we were eating fancy…
We ate on the Riverwalk once.
ONE TIME.
That lunch? $90.
For lunch. 😐
The rest was Olive Garden, Taco Bell, and Walmart food because I physically could not swipe my card one more time on that Riverwalk.

There were child meltdowns.

Was it peaceful? No.
Was it cheap? Also no.
Was it memorable? Unfortunately yes.
10/10 would probably do it again…
