Holiday Mini Golf! ✨⛳️
🎄🏴☠️ Holiday Bites & Sights: Pirate Christmas Edition!
Tonight we’re sailing over to High Seas Mini Golf in Fort Mill, SC to check out their Pirates Christmas… and guys, it is PURE holiday magic.
This spot is one of our family’s favorites year round, but we always make time for a holiday visit because the whole place is absolutely covered, head to toe, in Christmas lights, glowing displays, and even surprise visits from your favorite holiday characters. 🎅🏼🌟
The course has 18 fun and challenging holes that are great for all ages (even my toddler was living her best mini-golf life).
And adults? You’re covered too! There’s a fully stocked bar with spiked hot chocolate during the holidays. Yes please.
It’s such a cozy and unique nighttime activity that’s perfect for friends, families, or a festive date night.
We had the best time and will definitely be back before the season ends on January 19th! 🎄🏴☠️✨

If you're anything like me, you're always on the hunt for unique holiday activities that truly capture the festive spirit without breaking the bank or being too mundane. That's why I absolutely adore Christmas mini golf! It's quickly become one of our favorite holiday traditions, and honestly, if you haven't tried it, you're missing out on some serious seasonal joy. What makes Christmas mini golf so special, you ask? It's more than just putting a ball around; it's an immersive experience. Imagine walking through a winter wonderland, often with thousands of twinkling lights, festive decorations, and sometimes even holiday music playing. Many places go all out, transforming their courses into themed spectacles – think Santa's workshop, a gingerbread village, or even a 'Pirates Christmas' like the one I recently visited in Fort Mill. The attention to detail is incredible, making every hole a new discovery. It's also incredibly versatile. Whether you're planning a fun outing with the kids, a charming date night, or a friendly competition with a group of friends, Christmas mini golf fits the bill. For families, it's a fantastic way to keep everyone entertained, from toddlers to teenagers. My little one had an absolute blast, even if half her swings were just for show! And for adults, many venues now offer festive drinks, like the amazing spiked hot chocolate I enjoyed, adding an extra layer of warmth and merriment to the evening. To make the most of your Christmas mini golf adventure, here are a few tips I've picked up: Dress warmly but comfortably: You'll be outdoors, so layers are key. Don't forget gloves or a hat if it's chilly! Go during off-peak hours if possible: Weekends and evenings closer to Christmas can get crowded. If you can swing a weekday visit, you might have a more relaxed experience. Check for special events: Some courses have character meet-and-greets, live music, or unique photo opportunities. Look for food and drink options: Many places offer hot cocoa, cider, or even adult beverages to enhance the festive feel. Book in advance: Especially for popular spots, securing your tee time can save you a long wait. Finding a Christmas mini golf course near you is usually pretty easy with a quick online search for 'Christmas mini golf [your city/state]'. You might be surprised by how many hidden gems pop up! It's not just about the game; it's about making memories, soaking in the holiday atmosphere, and sharing some laughs with loved ones. It’s definitely an experience I look forward to every year, and I highly recommend adding it to your own holiday traditions!
