... Read moreAs a fellow Simmer, I'm constantly on the lookout for amazing builds to bring my gameplay to life, and Jasmine Raditz’s Magnifica Place is truly a gem! When I first saw this beautiful build, I knew I had to get my hands on it. It’s available for free, which is fantastic, and it provides the perfect canvas for anyone looking to create a dream home for their Sims. The exterior of this large gray house with two cars already hints at the grandeur within, and I couldn't wait to dive in and add my personal touch.
My focus for this tour is specifically on the second floor, which I recently had the pleasure of decorating. Stepping up from the first floor, you're greeted by a welcoming hallway view that leads directly into some of the most charming spaces. The carpeted landing area naturally serves as a cozy transition space, perfect for a small reading nook or just a place to relax.
One of my favorite functional areas I customized was 'THE Laundry ROOM'. It's been designed with practicality and aesthetics in mind, featuring sleek stacked white washer and dryer units. Above the black sink, a window lets in natural light, making laundry day a little less dreadful for my Sims! I even added a 'So Fresh' rug for a touch of whimsy.
Further into the second floor, you'll discover a truly vibrant children’s play area. This space is a dream for any Sim family with little ones. I filled it with colorful floor mats, various toy stalls, and even a wooden train track for endless imaginative play. A comfy brown sofa is also there for parents to relax while keeping an eye on their energetic toddlers.
Moving on, there are several charming bedrooms. The first guest bedroom I decorated features a warm orange bedspread, a classic wooden nightstand with a lamp, and a practical wall-mounted desk – perfect for a Sim who works from home or needs a quiet study spot. Adjacent to it is a spacious guest bathroom with a luxurious double vanity, black countertops, and crisp white cabinets, plus a large mirror and a refreshing shower.
For the younger Sims, I crafted two unique bedrooms. One child's bedroom boasts playful purple walls, a serene white canopy bed, and a cozy pink bean bag chair, accompanied by a delightful dollhouse and various toys. It’s a truly dreamy space. The second child's bedroom is designed for a little speed demon, with bold red walls, a modern black crib, and a fun race car track rug. Race car themed wall decorations complete the look, making it an exciting place for any child Sim. Nearby, a family bathroom provides convenience with a shower and bathtub combination, a vanity with a stylish marble-pattened countertop, and a built-in shelf for all the bath essentials. A colorful rug adds a pop of personality to the space.
If you’re looking to give your Sims a magnificent home, I highly recommend downloading Jasmine Raditz's Magnifica Place build. Even if you're not a decorator, touring it gives you so many ideas. It’s a fantastic foundation, and with a little creativity, you can turn it into something truly spectacular, just like I tried to do with the second floor. Happy Simming!
