This might seem unusual, but seeing progress over time can be motivating and rewarding. Finally, always carry portable food scissors with you when you go out after getting braces, especially if you plan to eat at buffets or have tough foods. It’s easier and more comfortable to cut food into smaller pieces than to struggle biting into big chunks.
