... Read moreHey everyone! I'm so thrilled to share my excitement for our 2025 Bible reading journey, kicking off this February! 💖 I know life gets busy, and committing to a full monthly reading plan can feel like a huge leap. That’s why I absolutely love the idea of starting with something manageable, like a "February 3-day challenge." It's the perfect way to dip your toes into God's word without feeling overwhelmed. For those looking for a quick, impactful way to engage with scripture right at the start of the month, this focused 3-day plan is ideal. Our full February schedule includes readings from Psalms, Matthew, and Romans. You can easily adapt these for a powerful three-day experience! Here’s how I’d structure a focused 3-day kick-off: Day 1: Dive into Psalms. Start your challenge with a few chapters from Psalms. They're incredible for worship, reflection, and finding comfort. Pick 2-3 psalms that resonate, or begin from the start. Focus on what these ancient prayers reveal about God’s character and how they speak to your heart. Psalms 1, 23, and 100 are always great starting points for inspiration and peace. Day 2: Explore Matthew. Switch to the New Testament with a few chapters from Matthew. This book gives us a firsthand account of Jesus’ life, teachings, and ministry. Reading about His parables or His sermon on the mount (Matthew chapters 5-7) offers profound insights into living a life of faith. It’s a fantastic way to understand the foundations of Christian living. Day 3: Reflect on Romans. For your final day, spend time in Romans. Often considered one of the most powerful books, Romans unpacks deep theological truths about salvation, grace, and faith. Even just reading the first few chapters can be incredibly enriching, helping you grasp the core message of the Gospel. Focus on understanding God’s amazing love and plan. Why commit to a 3-day challenge? It’s about building momentum and creating a habit. A short challenge helps you: Build a habit: Three days of consistent reading can lay the groundwork for a sustained practice. Experience quick wins: Completing a short challenge provides a sense of accomplishment, encouraging you to continue. Taste of scripture: It offers just enough exposure to remind you of the Bible's richness and relevance in your daily life. To make the most of your 3-day journey, I suggest a few simple practices: Pray before you read: Ask God to open your heart and mind to His word. Journal your thoughts: Write down any verses that stand out, questions, or reflections. Find a quiet space: Even 10-15 minutes of uninterrupted time makes a huge difference. If you love this short burst of scripture, consider continuing with the full February Bible reading plan! It’s designed to guide you through various books like Psalms, Matthew, and Romans, and throughout 2025, we’ll dive into Proverbs, John, Acts, and many more. This 3-day challenge is your perfect springboard into a deeper relationship with scripture. So, who's with me? Let’s kick off February strong with a focused 3-day Bible challenge. Share your thoughts and favorite verses – I’d love to hear about your experience! Let’s make 2025 a year filled with spiritual growth and discovery.
