things i do when im in a funk…

i’ve struggled a lot with my mental health for years i’ve felt lonely, numb, depressed, never motivated to do any of the things i used to love. i’m slowly starting to feel like myself more and even though i have more hard days than good i still count the good days as a win🫶. i’m not embarrassed or ashamed i feel this way or it’s gotten to the point i need therapy, im proud that im starting to understand these feelings and working my way towards happiness again 😊. i have a great support system and an amazing boyfriend who sticks by my side through the good and the bad and wants nothing more than for me to be happy!

if anyone feels like this or feels like no one is listening to their feelings or just feel alone, remember you are not alone and no matter what is going on you are going to get through it! im here if you need to talk or vent🫶

i’m proud of you🤍

... Read moreFeeling down or in a funk is something many people experience, and knowing how to tackle these feelings can aid in emotional recovery. One of the best strategies is journaling, which helps in processing thoughts and emotions. Creating a routine that includes activities you once enjoyed, like reading, painting, or even cleaning, can spark joy. Engaging with your support system, whether through talking to friends or loved ones, can provide comfort and prevent feelings of isolation. Consider listening to your favorite podcast or music to uplift your mood. Online therapy is also a valuable resource for those seeking professional support but feeling uncertain about in-person sessions. It's essential to be kind to yourself during this time, recognizing that progress takes time. Embracing vulnerability, as suggested in the hashtags, can lead to meaningful connections and healing. Remember, it’s okay to seek help and talk through challenges. Your journey to mental wellness is unique, and celebrating the small victories can lead to a more fulfilling life.
