Skincare switch up when breakouts happen

I always switch my regimen up when I get some breakouts. I swap my hyaluronic acid serum with my tea tree oil / serum. Tea tree in any of its forms is extremely beneficial for breakouts, acne prone skin, scarring , hormonal acne, etc.

Then I use an oil free moisturizer in place of my daily face cream 😉

I use a tiny tea tree serum for application throughout the day so it minimizes the length of time breakouts are visible!

... Read moreWhen dealing with unexpected breakouts, it’s important to understand what triggers them. Hormonal fluctuations often play a significant role, especially for those with hormonal or adult acne. Incorporating products like tea tree oil, known for its antibacterial properties, can significantly reduce inflammation and promote healing. Additionally, using oil-free moisturizers helps maintain hydration without clogging pores, which is essential for acne-prone skin. Consider also integrating gentle exfoliation into your routine to remove dead skin cells that may trap dirt and oil. Remember, every skin type is different, so experimenting and finding what works best for your specific needs is key. You might also want to look into adjusting your diet or stress management techniques, since both can impact skin health. For further support, experimenting with patches or using targeted treatments can be beneficial. Always consult with a dermatologist for personalized advice to create a regime that optimally supports your skin during these troublesome times.
