The Will of the Many by James Islington

- human will is a power source for the Hierarchy and for people placing them in caste systems

- main character Vis dislikes the hierarchy and has a huge coming of age arc in this story

- politics include forms of oppression, corruption, secrets between Hierarchy sectors

I enjoyed this book for the complexity. I love good world building and also great side characters that are integral to the main character’s development. I can’t wait for book 2 cause BOYYY that CLIFFHANGER!
