It’s been awhile. Little shakey but 8/10 for execution. 🤪
Getting back into headstand practice after a break can be challenging, but it’s a rewarding way to rebuild strength and balance. When I resumed my own headstand exercises, I noticed shakiness and hesitancy, which is completely normal. Focusing on controlled breathing and steady movements helped me gain confidence. One effective approach is to engage your core muscles continuously to maintain stability and prevent wobbling. Also, practicing near a wall in the beginning stages can offer support and safety as you improve your form. Gradually, as strength builds up, try balancing without support to enhance your proprioception. Incorporating complementary exercises such as shoulder taps, planks, and dolphin poses strengthens the upper body and shoulders, which are critical during a headstand. Consistent practice—even brief daily sessions—can accelerate progress and improve execution quality. Remember, patience and mindfulness are key. Tracking your progress by rating your executions (like an 8/10 score) keeps you motivated while acknowledging improvements. Ultimately, this journey is not just about mastering the pose but also enjoying the process and benefits it brings to your overall exercise regimen.
