Details on how I grew my TikTok 540k+ followers‼️

This time last year, this was just an idea. I was playing around with editing but never posting it. I was so afraid of who might see, if they saw me fail. But why? Who was anybody to laugh at me for trying?

I understand being afraid to post your content, because I was too. I was a stay-at-home dog mom/ girlfriend lol. I had my stocks and things that made sure I was financially stable. But as far as working- I didn’t.

I love being home and cooking, hanging with my dogs and my man, working out, and making our house into a home. I figured nobody cared to see my life because I wasn’t flying out the country every other week. And little did I know, people love relatable content and I was more inspirational than I gave myself credit for.

I finally started posting months later, and I grew a community that I would’ve neverrr imagined wouldve come from me lighting my candles, pouring my glass of wine, and making my dinner. But here I am now, a full time influencer/ content creator, showing a relatable life, staying true to myself. Putting my first eBook and e-course together. Working with brands I’ve loved for years. Recording what I thought nobody would be interesting in, just my life, and getting paid for it.

6 months changed my life. And wrote down exactly what I did.

I also started posting to instagram a couple of months ago and have gained over 180,000 followers on there. If you guys want my tips and tricks for what I did on there too, let me know. I’ve been on here for about a week. And YouTube is next! 🥂

If I could do it, so can you. Believe in yourself, even if nobody else does. 🫶🏽

... Read moreStarting a content creation journey, especially on a platform as dynamic as TikTok, can feel incredibly daunting. I remember when I was just playing around with editing, too scared to hit 'post' because of what others might think. But fast forward six months, and my life completely transformed, leading to over 500,000 followers and a dream job! If you're wondering what 540k followers means, it means turning a passion into a full-time career, working with brands you love, and building an incredible community that truly cares about your authentic self. It’s more than just a number; it’s a gateway to amazing opportunities. So, how did I do it? Here are some of my top TikTok growth tips and video posting tips that truly made the difference: 1. Just Post! Seriously. The biggest hurdle for many, myself included, is simply starting. I was a stay-at-home dog mom, worried my life wasn't exciting enough. But what I learned is that relatability is key. Don't wait for perfection. Your first videos won't be your best, and that's okay! The algorithm rewards consistency, not just viral hits. Every video you post is a chance to learn and improve. Embrace the journey and let your authentic personality shine through, whether you’re sharing a 'cook w me' session or 'date nights' with your partner. 2. Hook Your Audience in the First 3 Seconds. TikTok is all about instant gratification. You have mere moments to grab someone's attention as they scroll. Think about what will make someone stop. Is it a bold statement? A captivating visual? A question that piques curiosity? For example, starting with a text overlay like "500k+ followers In 6 months on TikTok HOW I DID IT" on a compelling visual immediately tells viewers what they're in for and why they should stay. This is crucial for improving your profile's follower count and overall engagement. 3. Focus on Value, Not Just Virality. It’s tempting to chase trends, but sustainable growth comes from providing consistent value. What problem are you solving? What entertainment are you offering? My content, which often revolves around my daily life, resonates because it's relatable and genuine. I share practical home tips, recipes, and glimpses into my routine. When you provide value, people are more likely to return, engage, and ultimately follow. 4. Consistency and Engagement are Non-Negotiable. Showing up regularly is vital for TikTok growth. This doesn't mean posting five times a day, but finding a schedule you can stick to. More importantly, engage with your community! Respond to comments, answer DMs, and acknowledge your followers. This builds loyalty and makes your audience feel seen and appreciated. Remember, it's a two-way street. Your engagement with them encourages their engagement with you. 5. Master Keywords and Trends (Wisely). Using relevant keywords in your captions and on-screen text helps the algorithm understand your content and push it to the right audience. Pay attention to trending sounds and topics, but always adapt them to fit your niche and authentic voice. Don't just follow a trend blindly; infuse it with your unique perspective. This strategic approach to content creation can significantly impact your TikTok profile's follower count and overall reach.
