Prayer🙏🏼

What is prayer?

- A way for us to communicate with God that can involve asking for favor, giving thanks, expressing sorrows, confessions, or even just an open conversation with God that is ALWAYS open!

Why do we pray?

- Prayer is important for us because it is a way we invite God into our daily lives.

- Inviting God in, we build an intimate relationship with him, allowing us focus on him more and more as he transforms our hearts and our lives!

How do we pray?

- Praying doesn’t have to be complicated or scary. You don’t don’t have to use big words for God to listen to you.

- An example of prayer: God thank you for this life you have gifted me with. Have your way in my life, transforming my heart so that I may be more like Christ. Forgive me of my sins, and help me to forgive those who have sinned against me. Help me to love and serve others the way Christ does. Thank you for your endless grace and mercy, In Jesus name I pray AMEN!

Rejoice always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is Gods will for you in Christ Jesus. - 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18
