DAY 1: 75 SOFT 📖✨
THE REMIXXXX🌀🌀🌀
Yes, I will be trying this challenge again. Yes, I hope things will be different this time around. I’ve asked my mom to be my accountability partner because she will be absolutely BRUTAL with me and ensure I don’t get lazy and slack off.
My main goals are to focus on 30+ minute workouts every day (a walk is considered a workout this go around) and healthier eating (trying to maintain a calorie deficit)
I saw so many girls on this app are starting their 75 day challenge today, March 4, and I wanted to join in on the fun as well!
I ate pretty well (snuck in a cupcake from work today), did an outdoor hit girl walk (2 miles!), and did a 60 min yoga body sculpt class. Closed all my rings! 🧁🏃🏽♀️🧘🏽♀️
Now to read and hit the hay! See y’all tomorrow 📖🥱
It’s Day 1, and the excitement is palpable! We all dream of those incredible 'before and after' photos, right? That’s definitely a huge motivator for me, seeing how far I can push myself over these 75 days. But I know it's not just about the final reveal; it's about the journey, the daily grind, and the tiny victories that add up to something significant. This time, I’m determined to make it stick. One thing I’ve learned from previous attempts (and what makes this challenge feel like a "tough set" sometimes) is that preparation is absolutely key. It's not just about showing up for your workout; it's about fueling your body correctly and mentally preparing for the long haul. For me, that means meal prepping on Sundays to avoid unhealthy choices during busy weekdays, and laying out my workout clothes the night before. And honestly, having my yoga mat ready and visible in the morning makes it so much easier to get started, even if it's just for a quick stretch before the day truly begins. Little habits truly make a difference. Speaking of workouts, I'm aiming for 30+ minutes daily. Today, my smartwatch proudly displayed closed activity rings after my outdoor walk and a 60-minute yoga sculpt class. Seeing those rings close, or hitting a step goal, is such a great visual reminder of progress! It’s those little affirmations that keep you going when motivation starts to wane. For anyone thinking about starting their own challenge, I highly recommend finding a way to track your progress, whether it's through a smartwatch, a journal, or even just daily photos to see the subtle 'before and after' changes over time. The "75 Soft" challenge, while softer than its 'hard' counterpart, still demands a lot of dedication and consistency. It’s a mental game as much as it is physical. There will definitely be days when the last thing you want to do is hit that 30-minute mark, or resist that tempting snack. That's where accountability comes in. Having my mom as my "brutal" accountability partner is a total lifesaver! If you don't have someone in person, consider joining an online community or even just publicly declaring your goals. The support system makes it feel less like a solo tough set and more like a shared journey. Ultimately, the 'before and after' isn't just about weight loss or muscle gain. For me, it's about cultivating consistent healthy habits, proving to myself that I can stick with something for 75 days, and feeling more energetic and confident in my everyday life. It’s about transforming my mindset along with my body. So, as I kick off on this Monday, March 4th, I’m not just looking forward to the physical changes, but the mental resilience I'll build. Wish me luck, and if you're on a similar journey, let's keep each other motivated!
