Home Office Setup 🌸
I’ve been working full time from home for two years now, so I obviously spend a lot of time in my office. Through out the years, I’ve learned that it’s so important to love my “office” space.
I made sure to make my desk and chair match the rest of the furniture in the room so it would easily all flow together. I also made sure to get a desk with standing capabilities so I have the option to not always sit down.
I always keep a cozy blanket and throw pillow handy on my chair because I want all the cozy vibes when I’m working. Then, above my desk I have a picture shelf from IKEA where I added some fun girly decor and also my college degree. It’s a nice way to incorporate my degree as decor — I think it looks so cute and I love the way my desk area turned out!

A well-designed home office can significantly impact your productivity and comfort levels. Start by selecting a color palette that resonates with you—soft pastel colors often evoke calmness and creativity. For furniture, ensure that your desk matches the overall decor of the room, creating a harmonious flow. This can be achieved by coordinating finishes, such as wood tones or metal accents, to develop a unified look. Incorporating a standing desk is a fantastic way to mix up your working position, aiding in better posture and overall health. Look for desks that can easily transition between sitting and standing, allowing flexibility depending on your tasks. Adding a cozy element to your office, such as a warm blanket or decorative pillows, not only adds comfort but also a personal touch to your workspace. Consider using wall space creatively—shelves that display both functionality and personality can serve as decorative pieces and storage. Additionally, accessorizing with personal memorabilia, such as awards or cherished photos, can infuse your workspace with motivation. Don’t forget about organization solutions. Invest in stylish storage bins and organizers that complement your decor while ensuring a tidy workspace. Explore options available in home decor stores like IKEA, Hobby Lobby, or Amazon for trendy yet practical finds on a budget. With these tips, you can successfully create an inspiring and inviting home office that reflects your personality while enhancing your work experience.

This is so cute! I like how streamlined everything is.
