Coffee bar Update ☕️🌿

My coffee corner is my favorite little corner in my house and I feel like I finally got it to be what I envisioned.

My house “theme” is a very modern cottage with a hint of modern farmhouse and I was so excited to find these whimsical stems to add to the coffee bar to tie it all together.

I love the rustic vibes of the accent table I found at Hobby Lobby and I love the drawer space even more! I don’t like a lot of things left out and open on my counter space, so it’s nice to be able to hide my k-cups away in the drawer and any extra mugs I have, since I can’t stop buying mugs!

Do you have a coffee spot in your house? If so, how do you like to style yours? Let me know in the comments below!

I've been on a journey to perfect my own coffee station, and I'm so excited to share some tips and tricks I've learned along the way, especially since finding that perfect rustic accent table with hidden storage. First, let's talk about finding your personal style for your coffee bar. My home has a modern cottage vibe with a hint of modern farmhouse, and I wanted my coffee corner to reflect that. You might love a minimalist look with clean lines, or perhaps a vibrant bohemian style with colorful mugs and textiles. Maybe you prefer a classic, elegant coffee station with a beautiful black coffee maker and a sophisticated lamp. Think about the overall aesthetic of your home and let your coffee corner flow naturally. Consider elements like a light wood cabinet for a natural feel or black metal shelves for a more industrial touch, as these can really define the space. Next, storage is key, especially if you have a collection of k-cups, coffee pods, and, like me, an ever-growing array of mugs! I found that having hidden storage, like drawers in an accent table, is a game-changer. It keeps the counter clutter-free and makes the space feel so much more organized and serene. You can also use decorative canisters for sugar, stirrers, or extra coffee beans. Don't forget vertical storage! Small floating shelves can be perfect for displaying your favorite mugs or small plants, just like I have with my shelves holding various coffee accessories. Now for the fun part: decor and essentials! Every coffee corner needs a functional coffee maker – mine is a sleek black coffee maker, which fits my aesthetic perfectly. Beyond that, think about what makes your coffee station feel inviting. I love adding a vase with white flowers for a touch of freshness, and small plants bring life to the space. A cute sign, like one that says "coffee by morning," can add so much character. Don't forget practical items like a sugar bowl, creamer dispenser, and a small stack of napkins. Trays are also fantastic for corralling items and adding a decorative layer. Finally, don't feel like you need to spend a fortune. My rustic accent table was a fantastic find, proving that you can find treasures without breaking the bank. Thrift stores, online marketplaces, and even repurposing existing furniture can help you create a unique and budget-friendly coffee corner. The most important thing is that your coffee bar brings you joy and makes your daily coffee ritual feel special. What elements are you excited to add to your own coffee station?
