DIY Electric Fireplace - Part 2.
In part one, I shared the base of the fireplace build with 2x4s and common board.
Now we move on to the final touches. I decided to shiplap the fireplace since this room is so white and plain, I liked the idea of having some texture.
We bought the shiplap at Home Depot and my boyfriend added a cut-out for the fireplace. We then painted everything and finalized it with mounting the TV and the electric insert.
We found the TV at Walmart for $198 and the fireplace was $179.99 on Amazon. It has a bunch of different color settings and you can either use a log or the glass rocks!
