One year later my kitchen has remained mostly original with its same cozy vibe but with a few updates here and there!
When we moved in my least favorite room in the house was the kitchen, it was decent, but wasn’t my favorite. Everything about this house had a lot of potential so I knew we would be replacing the dark floors with something light and bright.
I painted the counters and it was the best thing I could’ve done! And I added a peel-and-stick backsplash. I wasn’t sure how it would turn out but for $20 I figured I’d give it a try and I’m so glad I did. It’s been a year and it’s held up perfectly!
I love the wood cabinets and adding a microwave and replacing the nasty vent hood made all the difference!
