Hot Take: Church vs. No Church — Where Do You Stan

Okay, let’s be real for a second.

In 2025, does physically going to church still matter?

Or can you pray, worship, and have a deep relationship with God from your bed, car, or even on TikTok live?

Some say, “You NEED a church home to stay grounded.”

Others say, “God isn’t checking attendance. He’s checking hearts.”

This generation is different:

• We have online church.

• Therapy sessions.

• Bible apps.

• And a whole lot of “church hurt” stories.

Be honest:

• Do you feel closer to God at home or in a pew?

• Does community still matter to you or are you all about personal connection?

• Is “church trauma” keeping people away, or are we just lazy?

If you’re looking for a home church there’s nothing wrong with online/tv church, HOWEVER, you need community. It’s in the Bible. Galatians 6:2 Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 John 1:7 1 Thessalonians 5:14. And there are many more. We are meant to fellowship and worship with others. Isolation and Division are tactics used by the enemy to lead us away from God.

anywhere where two or more meet in my name....church is the people, not necessarily the building. prior to physical buildings, people met in homes or fields to worship anyway
