Why did you join the Military
Let’s be real…
I didn’t join to “serve my country.”
I joined because Uncle Sam was giving suga daddy energy—steady checks, free housing, healthcare, AND a uniform that came with benefits. And benefits for my kids!
I was broke, burnt out, and needed a way out.
So I signed the contract like it was a relationship agreement—you pay the bills, I’ll show up in boots.
Now look at me…
Filing paperwork, leading soldiers, dodging drama, and still questioning why 0500 formation is even legal.
But you know what?
It gave me structure, stability, and a bag.
And sometimes… that’s more patriotic than waving a flag.
