3 Ways I Thrift Quality Furniture
Thrifting furniture can be a total hit or miss, but I’ve picked up a few tricks for spotting the good stuff.
First thing I look for is solid wood; oak and pine are usually my favorites 🌲. I also check the finish to make sure the stain still looks good and the piece has some life left in it. A few light scratches or scuffs are fine (and can even add character), but I avoid anything that looks flimsy or beyond repair.
Most of my favorite pieces (like my coffee table, dresser, and heart tables) are thrifted. They’ve lasted me years, and they feel timeless compared to quick, trendy furniture. 🪑✨
Do you thrift furniture too, or do you usually shop new?
