Cafe Beignet — NOLA🍳
We couldn’t come all the way to New Orleans & forget about the beignets!! Brunch at Cafe Beignet on Bourbon Street was nice! Loved the atmosphere, it was packed & had a live jazz band playing! 🎉
🐊 Alligator Stick: 8.5/10 ( Tastes like a regular fried pork sausage )
🦞 Crawfish Omelette: 5.5/10 🌟 ( Nothing too special, needed more sauce or salt or something…. Was pretty bland )
🌭 Andouille Sausage Omelette: 5/10 🌟 ( Same as the other omelette )
🍚 Grits: 10/10 🌟 ( Surprised me seeing that I don’t really care for grits )
🍩 Beignets: 9.5/10 🌟 ( I had them put the candied pecans & caramel on the side )
All in all, just get your beignets here……. but eat actual food somewhere else 😅

When visiting New Orleans, Cafe Beignet is a must-visit for its iconic beignets—fluffy, powdered delights that perfectly capture the city's culinary spirit. While the atmosphere is lively, find dining options for hearty meals elsewhere. The Alligator Stick, reminiscent of a fried pork sausage, offers a unique taste but might not impress everyone. Many diners favor traditional dishes such as the Crawfish Omelette, though opinions vary on its flavor—some finding it bland without seasoning. For those seeking a true Southern staple, grits stand out, impressing even the most discerning palates. The combination of beignets and local atmosphere embodies New Orleans' culinary charm, ideal for food lovers. Don't miss the chance to enjoy live jazz music while indulging in these iconic pastries—making your brunch experience unforgettable!
