The September House

The book was good, creepy, and witty I thought it was just going to be your basic ghost/haunted house story... and boy it was not that at all.

📕Margaret and her husband Hal bought the large Victorian house on Hawthorn Street. finally find the house of their dreams. Then they discovered the hauntings. Every September, the walls drip blood. there is constant moaning and screaming, the ghosts are in their prime. Get through September and then it's not so bad. You either have to adjust or move out and Margaret is all about adjusting. Margaret will NOT let ANYONE make her leave her dream home including Hal. Yet, when Hal disappears and their daughter, Katherine, comes looking for answers, Margaret's life and her little haunted house start to unravel. I loved all of the scary and humorous parts and the shocking twists and turns.
