You The One and The Two: Book 2 & 3 Finale
You The One And The Two 2: A Hood-Rich Urban Romance-
This book was so good. JDA girl, you went in on this series. Duke disappointed me with what he did, smh. He is still my guy. Doe. I understand his frustration, but he still shouldn’t have done what he did. Lani is my girl, but sometimes, she frustrates me because I feel like she is not putting her kids first. She was doing too much at times. But I can understand her too because sometimes you must do it yourself to get something done. I was not surprised when Lani's identity was revealed; she always carried herself as a boss. Candy, this girl is crazy. This girl almost took her baby daddy out. Then, this crazy girl showed up at the hospital like she didn’t know what had happened. If a man has you doing crazy shit like this, you need to leave them alone. On top of that, her cousin. Swig threading to expose her if she doesn't help him with his plan. When Swig takes GMA boy, all hell will break loose, and y'all will see a never-dark side of Lani, and I love it. Keli, this hoe is crazy, just like Candy. Keli is also working with Swig, and that’s a bad mistake. Keli girl is trying everything she can to get Duke back. That man doesn’t want her. You set that man up. Duke did five years in prison because of her trifling ax. Chop my boy all f up. This man lost his memory after that accident. He doesn’t remember the last 6 years of his life because of his crazy baby mama, Candy. Chop’s loss of memory is going to dampen Lani and his relationship. This is a good book. Much shit is going on.
You The One and The Two 3: A Hood Rich Urban Romance, The FINALE-
Man!!! This book made me want to join the crew. Lol, dead ass. So many 🐍 in this BiH. Lies, betrayal, spice, baby mama drama, loyalty, Secrets unravel, romance, boss, family, gangsta women, and Pow-Pow🔫. I don’t think it’s the end of this series.
GMA got kidnapped, and Lani is going to flip the hell out. GMa held her on, though. GMA is a gangsta, but she held her on. GMA is an OG. GMa taught Lani and her Twin everything. Chop and Candy's final look like they've figured this Co-parent stuff out, but everything will come crashing down. Candy girl can't feel sorry for you did it to yourself. She hated Lani so much that she messed up something good she could have had—well, she did have it for a little bit. Candy's cousin Swig snitched on everyone who was involved. When Duke finds out he's right-hand man, Ace is engaged with Swig.
Duke is mad. I was shocked when I found out why Ace did what he did, but at the same time, Duke did nothing to him for him to betray him like that. Duke's father is the reason for Ace's action. His father was dead ass wrong for what he did. Lani and Duke got married. What should have been the happiest day was cut short when someone started to shoot at them. That was what caused Lani to have babies at eight months. She almost lost her life as well. Lani was furious, which made her tell Duke what she knew about Ace. Lani is a psychopath. The things she will do in this book will have y’all mouth on the floor. This other dark side to Lani will have Duke looking at her like my wife is a gangsta boss bih, lol, but Duke & Lani are a match. He had his women back. Keli got what she deserved. This girl keeps slipping away, but Lani got that ass. Ace got what he deserved, too. That scene where Lani watches him in that grave had me rolling that hoe crazy. I hope he’s dead. I felt bad for Chop when he found out Lani got married, but that was his fault. He should’ve taken her seriously when he had her. But I do like the friendship they have. I feel like Chop is trying to make this relationship work with Ashley now that he finds out he got another baby. He did say she is a good person, but I low-key want Chop and Lani together. Lani shocked me at the end of this book. I was like Yeah, this bih is Bad. Milani Mi’Amor Santana will always get the last laugh. Checkmate BITCH! I know this series is not over yet.

Okay, so I just devoured the final books in the 'You The One & The Two' series, and seriously, I’m still buzzing! If you're into that intense, no-holds-barred hood-rich urban romance, strap in because this one is a wild ride. What really gets me about this genre, and especially this series, is how it perfectly blends the gritty realities of street life with the undeniable allure of power, loyalty, and passion. There's just something about characters like Duke, Lani, and even Chop that pulls you in. They’re complex, flawed, and often make questionable choices, but their chemistry? Undeniable. It’s that 'i can't not fuck him' kind of magnetic pull where, despite all the drama and danger, you're rooting for them to find their way back to each other. The author doesn't shy away from the 'spice,' making their connections feel incredibly real and intense. And let's be honest, the visual of a strong, confident man, maybe even with some powerful tattoos like the ones often depicted on the cover of these books, adds to that irresistible charm. The 'hood-rich' element isn't just about money; it’s about a certain lifestyle, a code, and the high stakes involved when love and loyalty collide with power and betrayal. The way secrets unravel, and the lengths characters go to protect their own – or themselves – is just captivating. You find yourself completely immersed, wanting to yell at the pages, or just give in and say, 'fuck it, book it!' because you need to know what happens next. The author excels at crafting a world where every decision has massive consequences, and the emotional impact on the characters feels incredibly raw and authentic. From Lani's transformation into an unstoppable force, embracing her 'dark side' for her family, to Duke's unwavering intensity, and even Chop’s complicated journey, every character feels essential. The baby mama drama, the betrayals, the unexpected alliances – it’s all part of the package that makes these books so addictive. It’s not just a love story; it’s a story about survival, family, and finding your strength in the most challenging circumstances. If you're looking for an urban romance that will leave you breathless, emotionally invested, and craving more, this series is an absolute must-read. It’s got that blend of suspense, passion, and street grit that makes you wish you could join their crew!
