In my journey, I found that using harsh cleansers often worsened my skin condition, making it feel like sandpaper and overly dry. Instead, I switched to a daily rescue gel cleanser, which was gentle but effective at removing impurities. This kind of formulation helped maintain my skin’s natural moisture barrier. Hydration was another crucial factor. I started using a daily face moisturizer formulated with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, ingredients known for their hydrating and brightening properties. Unlike others with strong or unpleasant smells, this moisturizer felt light, absorbed quickly, and didn’t leave any oily residue on my skin. The combination of these ingredients helped soothe my skin and enhance its radiance over time.
