Seared ahi tuna

For my sauce I used:

- 1/4 cup of soy sauce

- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar

- 1/2 tsp minced garlic

- 1/2 tsp minced ginger

- Juice 1/2 a lime

- 1 tablespoon sesame oil

- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- 2 teaspoons of honey

- Pinch of salt

(For the garlic and the ginger I used my mincer, but if you don’t wanna use that or just feeling whatever I heard that garlic paste and ginger paste works as well)

* when you make your sauce, adjust to whichever taste you want my boyfriend likes it on the sweeter side so I divide it into two and I add some more honey and I like mine more on the toasted side so I add just a little bit more of sesame oil, but it’s upon your preference

After I put it in the fridge to let it chill while I make the steak

I turn my pan on medium then drizzle with oil

While it’s getting hot

Coat your tuna in soy sauce, top, bottom, and all around. Do the same with the sesame seeds, coat all around

-black sesame seeds

-white sesame seeds

Sear for about a minute, a minute and a half on each side

Once you’re done, grab whatever you want to eat with that I did white rice, kimchi, avocado, chopped jalapeños, and I had green onions but I just forgot to put them on.😬
