I miss you so much…
I watched my dad take his last breaths and cry his last tear 3 days before Texas got shut down for COVID-19… we didn’t get to have a celebration of life service for him and we still haven’t to this day.. it hurts my heart so much that he’s gone. I had to whisper in his ear with uncertainty that “it was okay” and that “we would be okay” and that more importantly, “I will be okay”.. saying those with shaky legs, eyes full of tears, burning cheeks, and chills/ shocks running through my entire body… I will never forget those last 2 days with you…
