“I am the way and the truth and the life."

Many days, I find myself struggling to fully live in the promise that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. It’s not always easy to follow His narrow path when life throws so many distractions and alternate directions my way. In my own experience, there have been moments when I didn’t outright reject Jesus but tried to navigate my day without relying on Him. I looked for other answers to my problems, attempted to mask my confusion with worldly solutions, and at times redefined truth to suit my comfort. However, I encountered a deep inner restlessness and emptiness that couldn’t be filled by any substitute. That’s when I realized how vital Jesus is—not just as a historical figure or a comforting idea, but as the true source of direction and life itself. Returning to Him brought clarity and peace as He helped me find my footing amid chaos. Jesus’ words, “No one comes to the Father except through me,” aren't just a statement of faith but an invitation to honesty with ourselves and God. By experiencing the struggle of trying to survive on my own strength and the relief of surrendering to His guidance, I’ve grown in faith and understanding. Jesus is my way when I’m lost, providing direction that renews hope. He is the truth that challenges and corrects my misconceptions, leading me away from lies and into freedom.
