Don’t lose heart. Stay in prayer.
Prayer can often feel like a solitary and exhausting journey, especially when answers seem delayed or situations remain unchanged. From my personal experience, the words in Luke 18:1 — "that they should always pray and not give up" — resonate deeply. It’s not always about receiving an immediate answer but about maintaining a connection with God that nurtures hope and resilience. In moments when exhaustion outweighs faith, it helped me to remember that prayer isn’t just about changing external circumstances. Sometimes, it's a way of guarding the heart against despair, a spiritual discipline that strengthens inner peace and perseverance. I’ve found that even silent prayers and moments of stillness hold significance. During those times, instead of focusing on outcomes, I focus on trust—trust that my prayers are heard, even if the response is quiet or slow. For those who struggle like I did, it may be encouraging to view prayer as a lifeline that keeps faith alive, a vital practice that sustains us through heavy days and unanswered questions. This perspective shifts prayer from a transaction to a profound dialogue, fostering patience and spiritual growth. If you feel weary of praying, remember Jesus’ encouragement to not lose heart. Strengthen your heart with the knowledge that persistent prayer nurtures hope, fuels your faith journey, and offers peace beyond what is visible. Keep praying, keep believing — even in silence, God is present.
