You don't need the whole plan. Just the next step.
Starting anything new can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re waiting for the perfect moment. I’ve been there too—afraid to move forward, wondering if my efforts are too small to matter. What helped me most was realizing that I don’t need the entire plan all at once; I just need to take the next step. This mindset shift is powerful because it breaks down the impossible into manageable action. The verse from Zechariah 4:10, “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin,” really resonates with me. It reminds me that every progress, no matter how tiny, is valuable and noticed by God. Sometimes, fear paralyzes us because we focus too much on how far we have to go instead of how far we’ve already come. In my experience, starting anyway—even with fear—builds momentum. Each step forward increases confidence and faith. Prayers can feel difficult during these times, but leaning into hard prayers (#HardPrayers) and turning to scripture (#LifeAndScripture) brings comfort. Trusting faith over fear (#FaithOverFear) transforms anxiety into hope. If you’re waiting to start because you fear failure or imperfection, remember that small beginnings (#SmallBeginnings) are a natural and essential part of growth. Life doesn’t require us to have everything figured out; it only requires us to start. Taking that next step, no matter how small, invites God’s guidance and blessings on the journey ahead.
