When you have PCOS can’t just eat what you want. One wrong meal and I’ll be as big as a bowling ball 🎳
The good thing about me is I don’t give up I’m resilient and determined to improve my health has anyone else had a PCOS relapse? If so can you please drop some tips in the comments

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a complex hormonal disorder that affects many women worldwide, often leading to symptoms like weight gain, insulin resistance, and irregular menstrual cycles. One of the biggest challenges faced by those with PCOS is maintaining motivation and managing diet consistently, as even one improper meal can lead to rapid weight gain — sometimes described as feeling "as big as a bowling ball." Relapses in PCOS management are common and can be disheartening, but resilience and determination play a crucial role in recovery and long-term health improvements. Motivational strategies include setting realistic goals, tracking progress, and surrounding oneself with supportive communities such as #pcosweightlossjourney and #pcosfitness groups that encourage sharing tips and experiences. Nutrition plays a vital role in managing PCOS symptoms. A low-glycemic, anti-inflammatory diet rich in whole foods, fiber, lean proteins, and healthy fats can help regulate insulin levels and reduce symptoms. Avoiding processed foods and refined sugars is critical, as these can exacerbate hormonal imbalances. Incorporating regular physical activity, especially strength training and cardiovascular exercises, can improve insulin sensitivity and promote body transformation. Mental health support is equally important; embracing vulnerability and seeking help can strengthen emotional resilience. As reflected in the image’s locker-room message regarding the weight coming back and starting over, it’s essential to view setbacks as temporary rather than permanent failures. Consistency over time, patience, and self-compassion are key factors in successfully surviving and thriving with PCOS.
