House of the Dragon S’mores 🐉🔥
These s’mores were made especially for the tv show! I really wanted to get the color theme for both houses and match the flavors.
The molds are from Spinning Leaf Molds, and they’re my favorite company to buy chocolate molds from.
The Black s’mores have a black chocolate melts outside, graham crackers, black currant preserves, marshmallow fluff, and red glittery sugar. They’re sprayed with a light red glitter dust.
The Green s’mores have a green chocolate melts outside, graham crackers, marshmallow fluff, and gold sugar flakes. I used a gold glitter on the outside of these.
To make the s’mores, I melted the chocolate and filled each mold about half way. I pressed one graham cracker square into the mold and then added the fillings. I pressed another cracker on top, making sure that the fillings didn’t come out of the sides.
After topping it with additional chocolate, I let them set in the fridge for about one hour. When they were done, I sprayed them with the glitter dust and let them get back to room temperature.
These molds are so fun to be creative with! Which flavor would you choose?

After creating these epic House of the Dragon s'mores, I got so many questions about how to take themed desserts even further! It's one of my favorite ways to celebrate a show, and honestly, it makes any watch party feel extra special. Beyond the Team Green and Team Black s'mores, there are so many creative avenues you can explore to bring the world of Westeros to your dessert table. For example, imagine 'dragon egg' truffles, perhaps with a shimmering edible dust, or 'Valyrian steel' chocolate bark with silver sprinkles. You could even make 'House sigil' cookies using edible image transfers or simple stencils. The key is to think about the colors, symbols, and iconic elements from the show and translate them into edible art. Using edible glitter, like the red and gold I used on my s'mores, is a fantastic way to add that magical, dragon-fire touch. These themed s'mores also opened up a whole new world of s'mores possibilities for me! While the traditional campfire s'more is a classic, molded s'mores allow for endless creativity. I've been experimenting with different types of chocolate – dark chocolate for a richer flavor, or even white chocolate dyed to match a specific theme. Instead of just graham crackers, try Biscoff cookies or even thin shortbread for a different texture. And fillings? Oh, the fillings! Beyond marshmallow fluff and preserves, think about adding a dollop of caramel, a sprinkle of crushed nuts, or even a hidden piece of candy. For my 'Green' s'mores, I've even thought about adding a little something tart, like a hint of green apple jelly or a tiny piece of dried green apple to complement the sweetness and evoke a fresh, vibrant feel. It's all about playing with flavors and textures to find your perfect combination. Working with chocolate molds can seem intimidating, but it's super rewarding. My top tip is to temper your chocolate properly if you want a really shiny, snap-able finish – though for s'mores where it's all about the melt, simply melting carefully works fine. Make sure your molds are completely clean and dry before you start. When filling, don't overfill the first layer of chocolate; you need space for your fillings and the top cracker. And the fridge setting time is crucial – resist the urge to pop them out too early! Once they're firm, they'll release easily, leaving you with beautifully shaped treats. If you're feeling adventurous, you can even layer different colored chocolates for a marbled effect. Planning a House of the Dragon watch party? These s'mores are an absolute must-have! Pair them with some 'Dragon's Breath' punch (a red or green fizzy drink), and you've got a feast fit for a king or queen of Westeros. Set up a 'Team Green' and 'Team Black' station with the respective s'mores so guests can choose their allegiance! It adds such a fun, interactive element to the gathering. And trust me, homemade themed desserts always get the most compliments. It shows you put in that extra effort, and it makes the experience so much more immersive for everyone. So, whether you're a die-hard fan or just looking for a fun new dessert project, I highly recommend diving into the world of themed s'mores. Don't be afraid to experiment with colors, flavors, and even different types of edible glitter. The possibilities are truly endless, and the joy of creating something unique and delicious is incredibly satisfying. Which show or movie would you try to theme next?
