When I didn’t or couldn’t turn to anyone else, I always had my diaries and my journals. So many notebooks have seen my best moments to things that would worry about a person’s mindset and wellbeing. Writing has been the backbone of my sanity and I know if I’m way too stressed out or overwhelmed

The first time I heard of blackout powtry was in a middle school English class and at the time I probably thought it was about the stupidest thing ever. BUT! Since revisiting the project senior year of highschool I have been occasionally making blackout poetry as I find it calming/therapeutic.
