Meal planning

So I used to meal prep heavy but since getting married and having kids im not the only one eating and if you have picky kids you know getting them to eat can sometimes be a mission.

How do you keep meals interesting enough but still manageable for a decent grocery list?

To make meal planning more exciting for both you and your kids, consider involving them in the decision-making process. Ask your children for their favorite ingredients or types of dishes they enjoy. This not only ensures that they are more likely to eat what is served, but also makes them feel involved and valued. Another effective strategy is to create theme nights, such as Taco Tuesday or Pizza Friday, which can add an element of fun to mealtime. Incorporating colorful fruits and vegetables into meals can also make them more visually appealing, encouraging kids to try new foods. Don't forget about batch cooking; preparing meals in advance can save time during busy weeks and provide a variety of options to choose from without the hassle of daily cooking. Consider also using a meal planning app to keep track of recipes and grocery lists, making your planning process even smoother. By experimenting with these tips, you can successfully navigate the complexities of meal planning while catering to the tastes of your whole family.

It gets hard, but as long as you have the basic building blocks of your priorities with food you can throw some stuff on top to flavor it

I seen someone cook 2 different meats and offset the days of when they have the certain meat. So Monday would be chicken Tuesday salmon Wednesday whatever other choice. They would cook all the meat on their prep day to get it out the way. And just make up sides and different flavors as they go.
