Strangers hype you harder sometimes. 🤪💖
In my experience, the idea that “your biggest fan is a stranger, your biggest hater is someone you know” really rings true. Often, people close to us hold expectations, past judgments, or unresolved feelings that can sometimes limit how much support they offer. On the other hand, strangers see us with fresh eyes and often provide honest encouragement without bias. This contrast became evident during a challenging project I undertook. While some friends were skeptical or indifferent, I was pleasantly surprised by strangers online who cheered me on enthusiastically, sharing positive feedback and motivation. It reminded me that genuine support comes from unexpected places and that external validation can be powerful. Also, in mom life, as the hashtags suggest, juggling responsibilities means you might not always get the encouragement you deserve from your close circle. However, connecting with online communities and strangers who share similar experiences can be incredibly uplifting. They offer empathy and encouragement without the history that sometimes complicates close relationships. So, rather than feeling disheartened by lack of support from familiar faces, it’s empowering to embrace and appreciate the hype and motivation from new connections. They can boost your confidence and inspire you to keep pushing forward. This dynamic teaches a valuable lesson about seeking positive energy wherever it arises and not taking close critiques too personally. Ultimately, nurturing relationships is important, but appreciating and welcoming encouragement from strangers can help us maintain momentum and resilience in our personal and creative journeys.
