Happy Global Running Day 🏃♀️
It’s Global Running Day and I’m reminding myself why I started 🫶
I don’t run to be the fastest.
I don’t run to compete with anyone else.
I run because
✨ it clears my mind
✨ it builds discipline
✨ it reminds me I can do hard things
✨ want to become a stronger runner
✨ want to run a full marathon
Some days it’s 3 miles.
Some days it’s a slow jog.
Some days it’s just showing up.
And honestly… that’s enough.
Today’s goal: just get outside and move 🌿
No pressure. No expectations. Just me + the road!
And to break in the new running shoes 🤪
If you’ve been thinking about starting… this is your sign 💛
Happy Global Running Day 🏃♀️

Global Running Day is a wonderful reminder for anyone who has ever considered running to take that first step. From my personal experience, running isn’t about winning races but about the journey and the moments of clarity it brings. When you run, even just a few slow miles, it creates a unique space where your mind can reset and stress melts away. This mental refresh is one of the biggest rewards that keeps me coming back. Another powerful aspect of running is the discipline it fosters. It’s not always easy to lace up your shoes and head out, especially on days when motivation is low. But sticking to this habit builds resilience and reinforces a mindset that you can overcome challenges—both physical and mental. I’ve found that even on days when my runs are short or slow, the simple act of showing up counts as a victory. Setting personal goals can also make running more fulfilling. Whether it’s preparing to run a full marathon or just aiming to get outside more regularly, having a clear purpose helps keep the momentum going. For me, breaking in new running shoes on Global Running Day was not just a practical step but a symbolic fresh start—your pace or distance doesn’t matter as much as your commitment to improvement. If you’ve been hesitating to try running, I want to remind you — this truly is your sign to start. There’s no need for pressure or competition. Just put one foot in front of the other and enjoy the connection with the outdoors and your body. Running can transform your life one step at a time, creating healthy habits and a sense of accomplishment that extends well beyond the road.
