get ready for good mythical evening
My husband decided to set us up in the garage for one our favorite nights of the year. It’s just such a fun silly night #goodmythicalmorning #goodmythicalevening #rhettandlink #lemon8diarychallenge
There's something truly magical about transforming a mundane space into a festive haven, especially when it's for a beloved tradition like Good Mythical Evening. For us, embracing the Halloween spirit means getting creative, and our garage often becomes the unexpected star of the show. It’s not just about watching our favorite show; it’s about crafting an experience that’s uniquely ours. Setting up for a GME Halloween night in the garage might sound unconventional, but trust me, it’s a game-changer. First, the garage offers ample space, allowing for a relaxed setup without crowding the main living areas. Plus, with a little effort, it’s incredibly easy to decorate. We started by draping plenty of Halloween spiderwebs across the entrance and over some of the existing shelves and tools, instantly giving it that spooky, festive feel. The open garage door even lets us enjoy the crisp autumn air while still feeling cozy inside. Comfort is key, so we brought out our favorite camping chairs and arranged them perfectly in front of the TV. Having a dedicated viewing area makes all the difference, ensuring everyone has a great spot to catch all the GME shenanigans. To add to the warmth and ambiance, we set up a small, portable fire pit nearby. There's nothing quite like the glow and crackle of a fire to enhance a cool evening, making it feel extra special and inviting. For additional lighting, a strategically placed lamp atop a stack of tires helped set the vibe, casting a soft, warm glow that complemented the fire pit perfectly. No viewing party is complete without snacks and drinks! We love to keep it simple and delicious. Bdubs (Buffalo Wild Wings) is usually our go-to for some easy and satisfying food, paired with a selection of our favorite liquor to get in the mood for some laughs. But you could easily whip up some themed Halloween treats – think 'monster eye' meatballs or 'witch's brew' punch. The goal is to make it effortless and fun, so you can focus on enjoying the company and the show. If you're thinking of hosting your own Good Mythical Evening Halloween party, I highly recommend trying a garage transformation. It’s a fantastic way to create a memorable and personal experience. Don't worry about perfection; it's the quirky, DIY charm that makes it so endearing. Just gather your favorite people, your go-to snacks, some easy spooky decor, and prepare for a night filled with laughter and good times. It truly is such a fun, silly night that we look forward to every year!
