Dental Office Manager Goes to Midwinter 🦷

Come with me to the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting in Chicago!

I started the day exploring the expo floor and checking out all the latest dental products and technology. Then I headed to a lecture to learn from some amazing speakers before making my way back to the expo to see even more booths.

There were also some fun photo ops around the event (because you know I had to get content 📸), and we wrapped up the night at an after party in Chicago with other dental professionals. Such a fun and busy day at Midwinter!

One of the highlights is exploring a vast expo floor filled with innovative dental products and technology. From high-tech tools that streamline patient care to cutting-edge materials that improve treatment outcomes, the expo provides firsthand exposure to the advancements shaping modern dentistry. A key session I attended focused on navigating insurance challenges in dental practices. The lecture emphasized the importance of understanding CDT codes, detecting abuse patterns, and collaborating with insurance commissioners to protect both practitioners and patients. Integrating this knowledge into daily practice helps ensure financial integrity while advocating for quality care. Photo opportunities scattered around the event added a fun, personal touch, perfect for capturing memories and sharing real-life experiences with colleagues and online communities. These moments highlight the vibrant atmosphere and camaraderie among dental professionals. The day culminated with an after party in downtown Chicago, a chance to unwind and connect with peers against the city’s iconic skyline. Events like this foster meaningful relationships that support professional growth and community building within the dental industry. If you’re a dental office manager or professional considering attending future meetings, I highly recommend it—not only for learning and products but for the vibrant community and inspiration that fuels everyday dental practice.
