wellness tonic for immunity & digestion

i’ve been drinking this wellness tonic in the mornings for the last 2 months and i absolutely love it! not only does it help keep my bloat at bay but i haven’t gotten sick once over the winter season when others have been sick around me. i definitely believe this is the reason why!

i will prep this and pour over an ice tray and freeze. in the morning, i warm up my water and drop an ice cube of my wellness tonic and drink first thing in the morning!

... Read moreSince sharing my morning wellness tonic, so many of you have asked for more details on why it's become my non-negotiable daily ritual. It’s truly more than just an immunity booster; it’s become a cornerstone of my holistic health journey, aligning perfectly with the 'eco tonic' philosophy of nourishing your body naturally. Let's dive deeper into how this simple blend of ingredients works wonders. First, the star players: lemon juice and apple cider vinegar (ACV). ACV is a powerhouse for gut health, helping to balance pH levels and fostering a healthy microbiome. When your gut is happy, everything else tends to follow – from better digestion and reduced bloat to clearer skin and even improved mood. Paired with fresh lemon juice, which is packed with Vitamin C, you're giving your body a refreshing detox and immunity kick-start right from the get-go. Then there’s the dynamic duo of grated ginger and turmeric, always with a pinch of black pepper for optimal absorption. Ginger is incredible for soothing digestion and reducing inflammation, while turmeric is renowned for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. I've found that using fresh grated ginger makes a huge difference, but those frozen ginger cubes from Trader Joe's (as my OCR notes!) are a fantastic shortcut for busy mornings. This combination really helps my body feel balanced and resilient, especially when others around me are catching every bug. And let’s not forget the 1 tbsp honey and 1 tbsp chia seeds. Honey isn't just for sweetness; it has its own antibacterial properties. The chia seeds are tiny but mighty, adding fiber that’s essential for healthy digestion and keeping you feeling full and sustained. Together, these ingredients create a truly synergistic effect, supporting your body from the inside out. What I love most about this 'eco tonic' approach is creating something incredibly beneficial with whole, natural ingredients. Making it at home means I know exactly what’s going into my body – no artificial additives, no excessive packaging waste. It's a small step towards a more sustainable and mindful lifestyle. My method of prepping it in an ice tray and freezing means convenience is never an issue. Just drop a cube into warm water, and you're good to go! I've personally noticed a significant improvement in my overall energy levels and mental clarity since incorporating this tonic daily. It’s not just about preventing illness; it’s about feeling vibrant and well every single day. If you're looking for a simple, natural way to support your immunity, boost your digestion, and embrace a more holistic approach to well-being, I wholeheartedly recommend giving this tonic a try!
