What I wanted vs. what I have (so far)🙃😂😂
I know I posted about my content creation tools and what I had and was going to get but I changed my mind for the upteenth time🙃. I now have all I need but I love tech😂😂 so who knows what else I might grab?🤷🏾♀️
As someone who’s passionate about creating content, I’ve found that my gear preferences evolve almost as quickly as the technology itself. Initially, my wishlist included items like the SJCAM and Insta360 GO 3S—highly portable cameras perfect for dynamic shots and vlogs. The Insta360 X5, known for its immersive 360-degree capabilities, was also a strong contender for capturing unique perspectives that traditional cameras just can’t offer. Having these tools in my lineup has really enhanced the quality of my content, giving me the flexibility to experiment with different shooting styles and angles. For example, the Insta360 GO 3S offers incredible stabilization and compactness, making it ideal for on-the-go recording without missing a moment. Similarly, the SanDisk storage solutions ensure I have enough space to keep all my footage safe without worrying about running out of memory during shoots. That said, the ever-changing nature of tech means I’m always considering upgrades or new acquisitions—I love keeping my setup current but also practical. Balancing what I want versus what I actually use has been a learning experience. I’ve realized having all the tools I need doesn’t mean I have to own everything on my wishlist all at once. Instead, prioritizing gear that complements my creative goals and workflow allows me to focus on making better content rather than accumulating gadgets. If you’re on a similar journey, my advice is to try out gear that suits your style and ambitions, but don’t feel pressured to buy everything new that comes out. Sometimes, mastering the tools you have and exploring their full potential can be more rewarding than continuous upgrades. And as someone who enjoys tech, the excitement of planning future acquisitions will always be a fun part of the creative process!
