How do YOU find time to game?🎮
Let’s be honest… finding time to game as an adulting girly is basically a side quest of its own. 😂🎮 Between work, content, errands, and life just… life-ing, gaming time can slip away quick. But I realized this year that if I plan it, I actually get to enjoy it.
For me, I find time to game by literally scheduling it like a little treat. Sometimes it’s a planned gaming night, sometimes I squeeze it in when I’m bored, and sometimes it’s on my free days when I finally get to breathe. But either way — I make space for it, because gaming is my cozy escape AND my job.
Here are my Top 3 Tips for making time to game even with a busy life:
1. Plan Your Play Sessions
Treat your gaming time like an appointment. Add it to your planner, calendar, or phone reminders. This keeps you consistent AND gives you something to look forward to after a long day.
2. Use Micro-Moments
You don’t always need 3 hours — sometimes 15–30 minutes is enough to play a quick match, grind a level, or make progress in a story. Those little sessions add up!
3. Choose “Flexible Games” for Busy Weeks
Some weeks I don’t have the brain power for deep story games so I play quick, easy, pick-up-and-pause games. It makes it easier to still enjoy gaming without the pressure.
Gaming is part of my self-care, my enjoyment, and my personality so I always try to make room for it. 💗🎮
