lessons over pain
it’s easy to replay the hurt…
the words, the moment, the “why me?”
but what if the shift… changes everything?
pain will keep you stuck
but the lesson? that’s where your power is
you didn’t go through all of that for nothing
you’re growing in ways you can’t even see yet 🤍
choose the lesson… every time
❓ What lesson did your hardest moment teach you?

From my own experience, I’ve learned that pain, while deeply challenging, can also be the catalyst for some of the most profound growth moments. Initially, it’s natural to dwell on the hurt—the harsh words, the moments of doubt, and the inevitable "why me?" questions. But I found that when I consciously shifted my focus towards the lessons embedded in those painful times, everything began to change. One powerful realization came from reflecting on Psalm 46:10 – "Be still and know that I am God." This verse reminded me to pause amidst the chaos of emotions and acknowledge a higher power at work within me, guiding my healing journey. Pain itself can keep us stuck in a loop of suffering, but choosing to seek the lesson behind the pain unlocks a different kind of power: the power to grow and transform. This perspective helped me understand that no painful experience is wasted. Every struggle contributed to my personal development in ways that weren’t immediately visible. I encourage you to ask yourself, "What did my hardest moment teach me?" and to embrace that answer. This approach fuels a growth mindset, turning challenges into opportunities for self-reflection and positive change. Also, embracing "faith over fear" became a recurring theme in my journey. When fear threatened to overwhelm me, focusing on faith—and the lessons from my trials—helped me build resilience and continue moving forward. It reinforced the idea that healing is not just about recovery but about evolving into a stronger, wiser version of yourself. Ultimately, pain doesn’t define us; how we respond to it does. Choosing the lesson every time nurtures self-growth and paves the way for a healing journey filled with purpose and hope. If you’re navigating through hurt now, remember you’re growing in ways you cannot yet see. Keep faith and keep choosing the lessons—they carry your power.
