✨ This recipe is so simple, you could make it in your sleep (however I don’t recommend that 😅)

✨You’ll need 5 ingredients:

• Yellow cake mix

• Eggs, oil & water

Simply follow the directions on the box cake mix, then add about 1-2tbsp sprinkles to the mix!

In a mini cupcake tin, add 1tbsp of the mix into each greased tin

Then bake at 350 for 9-10 minutes!

One box of cake mix makes 56 little bites!!! 🧁

... Read moreOkay, so you've seen how incredibly simple these 'Yummy Little Bites' mini muffins are to whip up. But let me tell you, they're not just easy; they're the perfect excuse for some quality time in the kitchen, especially if you're looking to bake some delicious muffins with mom! I've been making these with my own family, and it's become such a cherished activity. First off, let's talk about why these are ideal for a baking session with your mom or even little ones. The 5-ingredient simplicity means less stress and more fun. There's no complicated measuring or fancy techniques. Your mom can easily guide you (or vice versa!), or if you're baking with kids, they can handle many of the steps with minimal supervision. It's all about creating memories, right? Beyond just following the box directions, I've found a few tricks to make this 'muffin with mom' experience even better. For instance, when adding the sprinkles, don't be afraid to get creative! We sometimes divide the batter and add different colored sprinkles to each batch, or even some mini chocolate chips or a tiny dash of cinnamon for a different flavor profile. It's an easy way to customize these little bites without adding much effort. Think of it as making your own COPYCAT SNACK RECIPE – those perfectly portioned, delicious treats you buy at the store, but homemade with love! Another thing we love to do is decorate them after they've cooled. A simple glaze made from powdered sugar and a tiny bit of milk, or even just a dollop of whipped cream, can turn these simple mini muffins into something truly special. It adds another layer of fun to the baking process, and everyone gets to put their personal touch on their treats. And because one box of cake mix makes a whopping 56 mini muffins, you'll have plenty to share! We often bake a big batch and then pack some up for gifts. Imagine surprising your mom with a cute little bag of homemade mini muffins, or bringing them to a family gathering. They're always a hit, and everyone's impressed by how cute and delicious they are, without realizing just how easy they were to make. This recipe isn't just about baking; it's about the conversations, the laughter, and the shared moments that happen around the kitchen counter. It's about empowering yourself (or your kids!) to create something yummy from scratch. So next time you're looking for a low-key, enjoyable activity that results in a delicious treat, grab a box of cake mix and invite your mom to join you. You'll be surprised how much joy these simple 'little bites' can bring. Happy baking!

Have you tried this with mini chocolate chips? Does the same concept mock the mini chocolate chip ones. My son loves those and would love to save that money!
