2020-2022 version of myself wouldn’t have a single worship song on my phone. Once I fully surrendered to God, everything in me changed. My desires changed, my taste for things changed, and I cannot relate to today’s secular music. I can’t front like I only listen to worship music but that’s something I am working on. I was an avid trap, old rap, and r&b listener but I do listen to worship music more than anything else.
The closer I get to Christ, the more I want to consume things that glorify Him. I want to be more Christ like than anything. As Christ followers, we are to be in constant prayer and worship.
These are some of my favorite go to songs. Each song has a meaning to me because they all remind me of Gods word.
