Post Pilates meals 🌸
Pilates makes me hungry but in a soft way ✨
Here’s how I refuel 🤍
After a Pilates session, I often find my appetite awakening in a gentle, satisfying way. My goal is to choose meals that not only curb hunger but also aid recovery and keep me feeling energized throughout the day. One of my favorite go-to options is a bowl of Greek yogurt topped with fresh berries and a drizzle of honey. It’s light, high in protein, and offers antioxidants that support muscle repair and skin health. Plus, it feels refreshing after a good workout. Avocado toast paired with eggs is another favorite—it’s the perfect blend of healthy fats and protein. I like that it’s both filling and easy to prepare, and the healthy fats in avocado help reduce inflammation and promote sustained energy. Protein smoothies are a great quick fix when I’m on the go. Combining banana, almond milk, peanut butter, and protein powder provides a nourishing combo that replenishes muscles and keeps me full without feeling heavy. For something more substantial, a salmon rice bowl provides satisfying protein and omega-3 fatty acids, which are excellent for muscle recovery and overall wellness. It’s simple yet packed with nutrients. To stay hydrated and maintain calm energy, I often finish with a cup of matcha or a green juice. Both are great for replenishing fluids and providing a gentle caffeine boost without jitters. Incorporating these meals into my post-Pilates routine has made a noticeable difference in how I feel—more energized, less sluggish, and ready to take on the rest of the day. Listening to your body and choosing nutrient-rich foods helps maximize the benefits of Pilates and supports your overall wellness journey.
